Department of Psychology

Abigail Agyemang is a Psychology PhD student at the University of Cambridge in the Centre for Neuroscience in Education (CNE), Department of Psychology. Her research is focussed on Mathematics Anxiety in secondary school pupils from different underrepresented groups. She is under the supervision of Professor Denes Szucs and is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)Abigail graduated with a First Class MSci (Hons) degree in Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL).

Before starting her PhD, Abigail worked as a Research Assistant at various universities including UCL, RHUL and Queen Mary University of London. She has also worked as an Assistant Psychologist within CAMHS Neurodevelopmental and Intellectual Disabilities services in Oxford Health NHS Trust and Acute Adult Mental Health services in Central and Northwest London (CNWL) NHS Trust.
