The Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting, Neuroscience 2013, is under way in San Diego and members of the Department are attending in force.
Over the course of the Meeting, nine posters will be presented, and a mini-symposium chaired, by various members of the Department. Amongst those attending from the Department are Professor Trevor Robbins, Professor Lorraine Tyler, Professor Tim Bussey, Dr Luke Clark, Dr Lisa Saksida, Dr Dawn Eagle, and Dr Adam Mar.
A paper co-authored by Dr Luke Clark, 'Pathological choice: the neuroscience of gambling and gambling addiction' is featured in the special annual meeting issue of the Journal of Neuroscience (the official journal of the Society for Neuroscience). The first Society of Neuroscience annual meeting took place in Washington DC in 1971. The Neuroscience 2013 meeting will run from 9 -13 November, and the programme is available here.
