Research Interests:

Sam Andrews is a 3rd year Ph.D. student and a member of Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge. Her interests broadly encompass cognitive and developmental psychology. As well as this, Sam has a particular passion for the interface between psychology and criminal law. She is interested in the critical issues pertaining to investigative interviewing practices, including the continued development and implementation of the NICHD Protocol, and factors affecting children's experiences in the justice system. Her Ph.D. research will be the first series of studies to comprehensively assess the values and risks associated with the direct- and cross-examination of children in British courts.
