Eddie is a first-year PhD student in the Prediction and Learning lab, supervised by Prof. Rebecca Lawson. He is generally interested in computational models of learning and decision-making, as well as altered uncertainty processing across mental health conditions. His PhD project will investigate the neurocomputational mechanisms of vigilance, using a combination of methods to study how people scan the environment and gather information about uncertain threats. He also works with effort-based decision-making paradigms, eye-tracking, and online behavioural testing.
