Dr James Russell has recently increased the artistic tempo of the Department, producing both a new collection of poetry, Arnos Grove, and a novel, Craigie's Clevedon Poems.
Published by the Waterloo Press, Arnos Grove is James Russell's third book of poetry. Arnos Grove is writing "from the wilder reaches of a prickly brain" (John Kerrigan), a dazzling juggling of vocabulary and ideas. Previously, he has published The Sixty-Four Seasons (Oleander, 2004) and Properly Nuanced (Knives Forks and Spoons Press, 2012).
Craigie's Clevedon Poems (Knives Forks and Spoons Press) is a dark comic novel, with plenty of poetry (naturally).
