Sharon Ting

Sharon Ting is a PhD student in the Centre for Child, Adolescent and Family Research at the University of Cambridge. Her doctoral research is jointly supervised by Professor Claire Hughes and Professor Jenny Gibson, and examines the socio-cognitive and contextual factors that shape peer relationships and emotional wellbeing in adolescents with language difficulties. She is funded by the Ministry of Education and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (HASS International PhD Scholarship). Prior to joining Cambridge, Sharon completed an MSc in Language Sciences at University College London and a BSocSci in Psychology and Media Analytics at Nanyang Technological University.
