Alumni
The Psychology Department in Cambridge is privileged to have a long list of esteemed alumni, including Anne Treisman, Brenda Milner, David Halpern, Lord David Sainsbury, Geoffrey Hinton, Richard Gregory. We are proud of our global community of alumni and are committed to staying connected with former students, researchers and staff of the Department of Psychology. We are now developing further our alumni network to help former members of the Department stay connected with us and with one another, reconnect with colleagues, exchange ideas and expertise, and keep up to date with developments in Psychology at Cambridge and beyond.
Stay connected
Our alumni are always welcome to stay connected with the Department. Come along and attend our seminars and events, visit us when you are in Cambridge, and take part in future alumni activities. We will also be organizing networking events specifically for graduates from the Department of Psychology.

Supporting Psychology at Cambridge
Philanthropic support plays an important role in helping the Department advance research, support our students and researchers, and create opportunities for the next generation of psychologists.
Donations can help us support students and early-career researchers, develop new research ideas, and create opportunities that would not otherwise be possible.
Your support could, for example:
- enable a student to undertake a summer research project;
- help a PhD student or early-career researcher present their work at an international conference;
- provide support for postgraduate studentships;
- help talented international students study at Cambridge;
- support early-career researchers as they develop independent research; and
- contribute to new research, teaching and public engagement initiatives.
Every contribution, whatever its size, can make a difference. Alumni and supporters may choose to contribute to a particular area of interest or to support areas of greatest need within the Department.
