Common Experimental Area
The Common Experimental Area is a psychophysiological research hub at the Department of Psychology, offering rooms and equipment for a variety of projects. By sharing resources and training students and researchers, we promote a community-based approach to collaborative research culture.
The Common Experimental Area began with the Trevor Robbins Cognitive Neuroscience Labs in 2024, dedicated to adult testing, and later expanded to include Babylab, which provides family-friendly testing spaces to support developmental research.
Follow the links to learn more about each facility, including its capacity and how to get in touch to access shared resources.
Below, you can also find our Notice Board, where we display posters advertising ongoing studies looking for participants from across the Department of Psychology and the wider University of Cambridge community.
