Louise Gray

Louise completed her BSc (Brunel University London) and MSc (Birkbeck) in Psychology between 2006-2013, while raising her young son. She joined the University in 2021 as a Research Assistant and now works as Engagement Coordinator & EA to the Director for the Centre for Child, Adolescent & Family Research (CAFR).

In her current role, Louise convenes the CAFR Seminar Series and CAFR Annual Conference, and contributes to organising the Child Development Forum (CDF) and annual Cambridge Festival events for the CAFR and Department of Psychology.

During Louise's undergraduate degree she undertook a year in industry as a Senior Lab Technician and Research Assistant, overseeing data collection and management, and supervising undergraduate dissertation students in using the lab equipment and retrieving their data. 

Louise's previous experience includes Event Management and Staffing for large, complex music and sports events, working for Freemans Event Partners, UEFA and Arsenal FC. She was Programme Coordinator for Cambridge United FC's Youth Development operations, and then Operations Manager for the Cambridge United Foundation.
