Programme Highlights

The jSchool is a seven-day event and meeting point for more than thirty students, six PhD Research Supervisors, and a handful of academic speakers. Under a theme that changes each year, the jSchool explores aspects of contemporary psychological research and practice. Crucially for students, the jSchool offers the chance to gain valuable experience in designing research in small groups under the supervision of established researchers.

The jMeeting is an annual three-day work event in Madrid where the six teams can further develop their ongoing projects. The event involves a poster session at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria where the teams can present their current progress.

The JRP Conference represents the highlight of the JRP calendar. At this marker event, each JRP cohort reconvenes to present the work completed to date on their research and to officially close their JRP activities. In addition to these presentations, the conference includes a poster session and concludes with a formal commencement ceremony.

The JRP Internship is yet another unique aspect of the programme which provides the students in the programme with the opportunity to contribute to a research project led by researchers at the University of Cambridge and partner institutions. The middle week of the JRP Internship shifts to focus on completion of the going JRP projects which culminates in the JRP Conference.
