Zahra studied BSc Psychology at Aston University before starting her MPhil in Biological Science (Psychology) at the University of Cambridge. Her undergraduate research project explored the perspectives of students towards waterpipe smoking and the potential implications to public health. In her undergraduate placement year, she worked as a psychology assistant within perinatal mental health at University College London Hospitals. Her MPhil research focuses on parental perception of infant behaviour and attachment during COVID-19. She is supervised by Dr Sarah Lloyd Fox and Professor Mark Johnson.
