Department of Psychology

I am a PhD student and Research Assistant at the Centre for Neuroscience in Education (CNE) and the Centre for Child, Adolescent and Family Research (CAFR) at University of Cambridge. Before joining CNE, I completed my MPhil in Psychology at Cambridge and a BEng in Computer Science at Tongji University, China.

My current research focuses on understanding how rhythmic features of speech, such as amplitude and frequency modulations, contribute to children's language development. By applying the Temporal Sampling Framework to cross-linguistic speech production data, I investigate neural and acoustic markers distinguishing developmental dyslexia and developmental language disorder, with the goal of advancing early diagnosis through AI-based analysis.

Additionally, I am also interested in developing Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) for developmental language disorders and the clinical application of machine learning algorithms with neuroimaging data. You can find more details on my personal website
