Department of Psychology

After completing a Neuroscience Bachelors degree at King's College London, I undertook a MRes in Bioimaging Sciences at Imperial College London before joining the Department of Psychology in 2017. Working under the supervision of Professor Jeff Dalley, my project focuses broadly on elucidating the underlying neurobehavioural basis of addiction. In my work, I am utilising non-invasive imaging (MRI) to make predictions about which individuals, or groups of individuals, are more likely to develop harmful drug use in the future. My research focus is on understanding the underlying brain structure, function, connectivity and regional metabolite profile in subjects that present pre-disposing vulnerability behavioural traits to addiction, and also changes in relation to compulsive drug-seeking itself.
