Department of Psychology

Elisabeta is currently a PhD student under the supervision of Dr Jason Rentfrow. She is funded by the Economic Social Research Council (ESRC) and Nokia Bell Labs. Her interests lie within the field of computational social psychology and, together with the Social Dynamics team at Nokia Bell, she is studying the geography of emotions. Elisabeta is generally interested in geographical differences in emotions, language and personality.

Before her PhD, she completed her MPhil at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Dr Jason Rentfrow, when she looked at the impact of personality on trust formation. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from King's College London where she received the Dean's award for outstanding performance.
