Biography

I started a PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2017 (funded by CAPES Cambridge International Scholarship), under the supervision of Professor Trevor Robbins.

My research interests are neuro and biological markers for psychiatric disorders (OCD, Anxiety and Irritability). I am interested in the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) approach and in analysing mental disorders as brain components. The focus of my research is to identify the origins of obsessions and compulsions in the brain through Event-Related Potentials. I am particularly interested in habitual behaviour. and rituals in OCD. My principal research methods are neuropsychological evaluation, electrophysiology and brain imaging.
