Piero Amodio, Markus Boeckle, Alexandra K.Schnell, Ljerka Ostojić, Nicola S.Clayton from the Department of Psychology, and Graziano Fiorito from the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn (Italy) are working together to shed light on the apparent paradox of octopus', cuttlefish's and squid's intelligence: "Grow Smart and Die Young: Why Did Cephalopods Evolve Intelligence?"

The New York Times published, last Friday 30th, an article discussing importance of the study. Read the NY Times article
