Sarah Flaherty, a Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour undergraduate, has won a Best Student Presentation award at the biennial meeting of the International Colour Vision Society, held in Erlangen, Germany, August 2017. The award was for a paper on the measurement of filter widths in feature-based attention. This work was her third-year project and was supervised by John Mollon and Marina Danilova. Although only newly graduated, Sarah was in competition with PhD students and postdocs.
