Professor Brian Moore has today been named by the health information website, ExpertScape, as one of the world's top ten experts in hearing loss. ExpertScape produces its rankings through analysing data gathered via PubMed. Professor Moore's ranking is based on 85 articles published between 2003 and 2014.
Early last month, Professor Moore was presented with the prestigious Gold Medal by the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) at the ASA Spring Meeting, which took place in Providence, Rhode Island. The award of the Gold Medal was in recognition of Professor Moore's distinguished contribution to the field of acoustics, through his leadership in research on human hearing and its clinical applications.
