Jon Roozenbeek and Sander Van der Linden won the 2020 grand $10,000 Research Prize in Public Interest Communications from the University of Florida for their paper on the fake news game. Jon Roozenbeek was in attendance to receive the prize and trophy at the University of Florida. The prize is presented by prior winner Prof Lisa Fazio (Vanderbilt) and specifically awarded to research that advances the public interest.
