This week sees the launch of a new Internet resource that promises to make a positive difference to the lives of children and families throughout the world.

The Child and Family Blog aims to improve the lives of children and families through the effective communication of new research findings, making new knowledge accessible to policy-makers, families, and professionals who work with families. The rapid dissemination of new research findings will allow policies and practice to be informed by the best available evidence, as it is produced.

The Future of Children at Princeton University and the Applied Developmental Psychology Research Group are the academic partners behind the Blog, with funding and professional expertise being provided by the Jacobs Foundation in Zurich. Expert in developmental psychology, Professor Michael Lamb, who leads the Applied Developmental Psychology Research Group, is a founding member of the Blog team.
