Department of Psychology

Members of the Department took part in the 4th Biennial Cambridge Neuroscience Symposium, which took place from 16-17 September 2013 at the West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge.

Professor Trevor Robbins chaired the session 'Channels in circuits', and Professor Nicky Clayton presented a dance performance with Mr Clive Wilkins as part of the Symposium's public engagement programme.

The Symposium, which was attended by more than 500 delegates, celebrated the half centenary of Cambridge scientists Alan Hodgkin and Andrew Huxley receiving the Nobel Prize. The BBC's Naked Scientists show talked to the Symposium's organiser, Dr Dervila Glynn, about the Symposium and the work of the two scientists it commemorated.  Read the interview here.
