Department of Psychology

The University recently launched the Breaking the Silence campaign, aimed at preventing harassment and sexual misconduct. The Department of Psychology, which has a longstanding commitment to equality, fully supports this campaign. Dr Jon Simons, Reader in Cognitive Neuroscience, said "As we continue striving to create an environment in which everyone feels safe and supported in their work, it is for all of us to be clear that sexual harassment has no place in our University, or anywhere else."

Dr Jeanne Estabel, Head of Administration, added "It feels very good to work for the University of Cambridge, a workplace where you feel safe and valued. The University is taking these issues on sexual harassment and Dignity at Work very seriously. I do hope every member of staff feels empowered to ask for advice and help if needed."
