Congratulations to Dr David Stillwell, who has been appointed to the position of Lecturer in Big Data Analytics and Quantitative Social Science at Cambridge's Judge Business School.
David, who is Deputy Director of The Psychometrics Centre, designed the myPersonality Facebook app, which enables individuals to take psychometric tests and get feedback on the results. The app has facilitated the collection of a huge amount of test data that is linked to the social network profile data of individuals; this has proven to be a valuable data resource for researchers.
Last year, David was named as a Top 30 Thinker Under 30 by Pacific Standard magazine.
David will continue as Deputy Director of The Psychometrics Centre.
