Department of Psychology

Head of Department, Professor Trevor Robbins, is currently on a lecture tour in the United States.

Yesterday, Wednesday 20th May, he gave the 22nd Annual Norman Geschwind Memorial Lecture at Harvard Medical School in his capacity as this year's Visiting Norman Geschwind Professor. The Annual Memorial Lecture is given in honour of Norman Geschwind (1926-1984), a famous behavioural neurologist with theories on cerebral asymmetry and disconnection syndromes. Prof. Robbins' lecture was entitled Fractionating Impulsivity: Neurobehavioral basis and Neuropsychiatric implications.

Prof. Robbins is on the other side of the Charles River today, 21st May, giving a lecture at MIT.
