Department of Psychology

An exciting interdisciplinary event got under way in Cambridge yesterday. Hosted by Professor of Experimental Psychology, Zoe Kourtzi, Adaptive Brains and Machines is providing an opportunity for experts in the fields of cognitive neuroscience, computer science, engineering, and vision to get together to discuss the complex adaptive systems they are striving to understand through their research. 

The event is based at Downing College and is running from July 26 to July 28. The keynote address, 'Adaptation – from neural phenomenon to phenomenal neuron' was given by Professor Simon Laughlin.

Adaptive Brains and Machines is part of the Adaptive Brain Computations Marie Curie Initial Training Network meetings.
