Last week here at the Department we held a Book and Bake Charity Sale to raise money for the local counselling charity, Centre 33. The event was organised by Judith Brown and Daniel Bor, the Wellbeing Advocates for the Department. We had a wonderful array of cakes from lemon drizzle to chocolate truffle cake and managed to raise £165.00 in total.
The Wellbeing Advocates network is a University-wide group of volunteers, all of whom have undergone Mental Health Lite training in order to provide guidance on wellbeing issues to staff.
