PhD Candidate


Biography:

Jac studies child development, in the context of human behavioural ecology and cross-cultural psychology. She is particularly interested in the relative influence of prenatal hormone exposure and postnatal socialisation on sex-typed behaviour in humans. Jac is also interested in impact evaluation for criminal justice and conservation interventions, and in meta-analysis methods. Jac completed her MPhil in Social and Developmental Psychology in 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Melissa Hines, and is continuing to work under Prof. Hines' supervision for her PhD in 2014-2017. Jac is supported by a Gates Cambridge scholarship and an honorary Cambridge Australia scholarship.
