Warm congratulations to the two members of academic staff who have been awarded promotions in the senior academic promotions exercise.
Dr James Russell has been promoted to Professor. James is the Director of the Cambridge Developing Cognition Laboratory. His research interests include cognitive development in children, the acquisition of language, and philosophical psychology.
Dr Jon Simons has been awarded a Readership. Jon's research seeks to understand the brain regions involved in human memory. Jon leads the Memory Lab.
The promotions, which were announced in this week's Cambridge University Reporter, will take effect from 1 October 2014.
