A new book edited by Dr Juliet Foster has just been published. Performance, Madness and Psychiatry: Isolated Acts is a collection of interdisciplinary essays, which delve into the fascinating and complex subject of madness and performance. As well as editing the collection, Juliet has contributed a chapter: Performance in Bethlem, Fulbourn and Brookwood Hospitals: A Social Psychological and Social Historical Examination.

Performance, Madness and Psychiatry is co-edited by Anna Harpin and is published by Palgrave Macmillan. To find out more, visit the publisher's website.

Juliet also has a chapter in another newly published book, Qualitative Research in Clinical and Health Psychology, which is edited by Poul Rohleder and Antonia C. Lyons. Juliet's chapter is on Ethnography. More information is available on the Palgrave Macmillan website
