Dr Simone Schnall participated in HEADCON '14, a small meeting of social scientists at Eastover Farm, Connecticut, organised by the Edge Foundation. The topic of the meeting was to discuss “What’s New in Social Science?”. Schnall raised questions about the role of replication in social psychology and more generally about what counts as "admissible evidence" in science. The January issue of The Psychologist, published by the British Psychological Society, features a summary of her talk, which was previously also covered by NPR.

The video of the presentation, including a transcript of the talk, can be found on the Edge Foundation’s website. Further information on replication efforts in social psychology can be found on Dr Schnall’s Blog.
