Professor Usha Goswami will participate in a White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) Workshop on neuroscience and learning at the White House Conference Center in Washington, DC, this Friday (23 January). The Workshop is being organised by the Interagency Working Group on Neuroscience, which is a subcommittee of the US National Science and Technology Council's Committee on Science. Professor Goswami is the only European invitee.
The aims of the OSTP Workshop are to identify research gaps in neuroscience and education, to highlight innovations in research methodology and data analysis in the field, and to produce ideas for disseminating information about research findings in neuroscience and learning more widely.
Professor Goswami is Director of the Centre for Neuroscience in Education.
