Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology Archive contains a rich collection of uncatalogued primary source material dating from the early years of experimental psychology in the United Kingdom.

Last week, the Department welcomed the Archivist, Judith Etherton, and Collections Care Consultant, Helen Lindsay, who were on site to conduct a Scoping Study of the contents of the Archive. The Scoping Study, which was made possible by a Research Resources Award, generously granted by the Wellcome Trust, will result in a report, which will give an assessment of the contents and condition of the Archive, and will make recommendations about its future care, promotion, and accessibility.
