After receiving a B.Sc in Experimental Psychology from the University of Sussex, Greg was awarded a Ph.D in Attention and Visual Completion from the University of Cambridge in 1996. He then worked as a research associate at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and then took up a Royal Society Research Fellowship at Birkbeck College, London.

Returning to the University of Cambridge in 2002, Greg is currently the University Lecturer in Perception and Attention.

In addition to visual perception and attention, Greg's research interests lie in neuroendocrinology, and applied visual research in avionics.
