Dr Simone Schnall elected Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science

Dr. Simone Schnall, Reader of Experimental Social Psychology and Director of the Cambridge Body, Mind and Behaviour Laboratory, has been elected as a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science (APS), in recognition of sustained outstanding contributions to the advancement of psychological science.

Dr. Schnall’s research aims to understand why people often think and behave in seemingly surprising ways due to emotional and situational influences. Current research topics include judgments and decisions in moral and legal contexts, perceptions of the physical environment, and risky behaviours in finance (e.g., risk management in banks).
