Saturday 16th March is psychology events day

 

Head of Department, Professor Trevor Robbins, will form part of an expert panel for a public discussion Focusing on ADHD on Thursday 14th March at the Babbage Lecture Theatre.

The Department of Psychology is also running three events on Saturday 16th March as part of this year's Science Festival.

The Science of Your Mind is a hands on, drop in event that will take place in the Department's main Downing Site building from 10am-12 noon and 2pm-4pm.  A range of interactive exhibits and posters will showcase themes of research in the Department.

At 11am in the Anatomy Lecture Theatre, Prof. Nicky Clayton, and the artist and writer Clive Wilkins, will take a close look at the nature of imagination in a talk entitled 'Imagination: the door to identity'.

In the afternoon, at 2pm in the Anatomy Lecture Theatre, Prof. Lorraine Tyler will deliver a positive message about the ageing brain in her talk 'Healthy ageing and the brain: the good news'.

The Science Festival is a great opportunity to see psychological research in action - don't miss it!
