Department of Psychology

Professor Michael Lamb is to receive the Award for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology and Law, from the American Psychology-Law Society.  The Award will be presented at the AP-LS Conference, which will take place in Portland, Oregon, from 7-10 March.

The Award for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology and Law is reserved for individuals who have made a very exceptional theoretical, empirical and/or applied contribution in the area of psychology and law. In the 26 years since it was first presented, the Award has been granted on just 12 occasions.  Previous recipients include Janet Reno, Elizabeth Loftus, and Thomas Grisso.

Professor Lamb heads the Applied Developmental Psychology Research Group and is editor of the journal Psychology, Public Policy and Law.
